WHO WE ARE

"You travel on your own — but you're never alone."
Wandering Bear was born in 2024 from a simple frustration: travel planning had gotten complicated, impersonal, and broken. Booking engines that showed you the price but not the real connection time. “Customer service” lines that put you on hold when your flight was cancelled at 11pm.
We believed there was a better way. One that combined the reach and knowledge of a professional travel agency with the warmth and responsiveness of a trusted friend. Someone who answers the phone — or the WhatsApp — when things go sideways.
Based in Minnesota, we specialize in two very different kinds of adventure: the breezy Caribbean cruise for families who want zero stress, and the immersive Colombia eco-experience for travelers who want something real. In both cases, our job is the same — you enjoy the trip, we handle the rest.
We call our approach Mission Control. Before you leave, we stress-test every connection and document every contingency. While you’re traveling, we monitor. If something breaks — a port gets skipped, a flight gets cancelled, a hotel has an issue — we have a plan ready before you’ve finished your morning coffee.
